Succession Planning

Too often companies only look at succession planning when the need becomes imminent. Every company, be it family owned or not, should have some type of succession plan in place.

Succession planning has implications at three levels within small/micros enterprises, family, short-term and long-term officer replacement. If a key employee suddenly leaves, becomes ill or injured, someone else would have to step up and take over that position.

This programme has participants put in place a succession plan for their business and establishes a process to develop the skills and abilities of potential succession candidates and prepare them for the role they will occupy.
